Food insecurity among adults and children has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic due to rising levels of unemployment, poverty, and limit access to affordable produce and proteins, Hearts Of Mine Community Health Inc has collaborated with Pilgrim Baptist Church in Manchester neighborhood to distribute to more than 3,000 Pittsburghers with food and nutrition, wellness and needed covid related personal protective equipment.
